Matanzas Pass Preserve
This was an awesome sunset from back in September at Matanza Pass Preserve, with the sun setting over Sanibel island. This image is a combination of two different exposures, getting the detail of the water, as well as the sky as a storm came in from the East.
Snowy Egret on the Causeway
On the way back from surfing on Captiva yesterday, stopped along the Sanibel Causeway for some bird spotting. This snowy egret and his friend were picking off little pilchards (baitfish) in super shallow water.
Fishing With a View
A few tarpon were rolling in Mantanzas Pass in between Fort Myers Beach and Sanibel Island a few nights ago and had an awesome sunset to go with it as well.
Humpday Sunset
Last night I took a drive down to the North end of Fort Myers Beach. I hadn't been down to this spot before, but you can get a really cool view of the sunset over the Sanibel Island Causeway. I was a little skeptical on how the sunset was going to turn out, but things came together and made for a great view.
