Stepping into the sunrise at Lake Worth Pier last weekend.
The last sunrise of 2014 on Estero Bay.
Late afternoon from the Everglades State Park, just off Everglades City here in Florida.
On the way back from surfing on Captiva yesterday, stopped along the Sanibel Causeway for some bird spotting. This snowy egret and his friend were picking off little pilchards (baitfish) in super shallow water.
On the way to the fishing grounds this morning on Estero Bay.
My house backs up to a conservation, so I get to see quite a bit of wildlife on a daily basis. This is a local red shouldered hawk, checking out the sunrise this weekend.
Early morning on Estero Bay.
Lovers Key is a pretty special place, with some really cool scenery just South of Fort Myers Beach, FL. Erosion from hurricanes have left old trees out in the water at high tide. This was a long exposure taken around sunset about a month ago.
Last week we took a quick trip over to St. Augustine for the weekend. The area definitely has the "Old Florida". Made the early wakeup call to check for waves, but ended up shooting some pictures as the waves weren't so great.
