Sunset under the Naples Pier. I was pretty surprised at the number of people at the beach for August.
Sunset at the pier in Naples, Florida last night.

Overlooking Magen’s Bay on St. Thomas, USVI. Some of the nicest water colors I’ve ever seen.
Storm and sunset from Frederiksted on St. Croix. earlier this week. It was pretty unreal and tried my best to capture the real colors in this shot.

Cape Romano Dome Houses.
My paddling path to go along with the my last post. 7 miles from Marco Island to Cape Romano.
Towards the end of last week, I felt like I had to go on some sort of an excursion. There weren’t any waves within a 2000 mile radius, and I had been wanting to paddle somewhere in Southwest Florida. I had heard about these dome houses that were on the tip of Cape Romano, and on Saturday morning I embarked from Marco Island, down to Cape Romano. 7 miles there, 7 miles back. Did some fishing, took some pictures, and got roasted by the sun. This was the farthest paddle I’ve done by probably 10 miles, and I was exhausted Saturday night to say the least. Overall it was a good experience, and I was glad I was able to get there and back without too much trouble. I’ll post some more pictures of the dome houses shortly.
Central Long Island, NY.
A storm moves out to sea. Last night at Barefoot Beach.
Some quick light art before leaving Barefoot Beach tonight.
A southern toad waiting at my front door. The southern toad is often confused with oak toads. But never by me.
