Montauk Lighthouse
Last weekend I made a quick visit back home to see friends and took a day to do some shooting. This was at Montauk Lighthouse just after sunrise last Friday.
View from my house in Montauk. On a clear day, you could see past Trailer Parks. I spent about 8 full summers out there, and plenty of fall, winter and spring weekends when there was swell or to get some stripers. A few summers the beachbreak just a few houses down the block would be pumping with nobody out. My parents owned the house for about 10 years now. Heard today that it will be sold within the next two weeks. Some good memories of good waves and partying. Hoping one day I’ll be able to buy that house back. I’m going to try and get back up for a quick day or two before the sale goes through.
