Tropical Storm Debby brought some fun waves to the Gulf Coast of Florida few weekends ago. Plenty of wind and rain, mixed with a decent amount of rain made for a pretty fun weekend. Spot check in Venice, Sunday morning in between the squalls and 40 mph winds.

Hurricane Season 2012.
The last few months have not been to successful for me in the way of waves. An ankle injury and some bad timing have kept me out of the water for 4 months straight. The tropical depression that is now named Tropical Storm Beryl was off the coast of Florida and the forecast was looking good. I made a 4 hour drive up to Daytona, and started the search for waves Sunday AM at Sunglow Pier. It was not looking promising. I made my way down toward Melbourne, and scored a 3 hour session. 6 foot, 3 other guys out, and just some fun shaped waves. Nothing to shoot though. Later on I found this little shorey in Vero Beach and linked up with a few locals for a couple of mini tubes.
